NIST researchers are developing a method to detect recent cannabis use by administering two BREATH TESTS about an hour apart.
This approach aims to address the challenge of THC lingering in the body, which makes it difficult to distinguish between past and recent use.
The study involves participants using cannabis at home and then providing multiple breath samples over two hours in a mobile lab.
