Employers cannot rely on AI hiring vendors as a shield from discrimination claims!

A recent court ruling (Mobley v. Workday) sends a clear message:

*Employers cannot rely on AI hiring vendors as a shield from discrimination claims!*

Sure, AI can be a valuable hiring tool, but ONLY when paired with proper oversight, accountability, and human judgment.

If an AI tool helps decide who gets interviewed or rejected, HR is still responsible for the outcome and should be asking tough questions about how the technology is tested and monitored. The ruling also suggests that companies using these tools could become part of future investigations or lawsuits.

Manager training (and training for anyone involved in any part of the recruiting process) is legally vital!
