The Life of an HR Professional…

Many HR pro’s are a person who’s been labeled “too blunt,” “too touchy,” or “too busy coddling people.”

As if caring about actual humans is a flaw.

They’re the ones strolling into the most cringe-worthy meetings without a safety net.

They’re the buffer, the referee, the therapist, and the one who remembered Sarah’s birthday when everyone else forgot.

The unofficial lawyer, psychologist, event planner, teacher, peacemaker, career planner and detective.

One minute they’re drafting exit interviews, the next they’re coordinating new-hire welcome kits—sometimes in the same sixty minutes.

They go from drained to fulfilled to pissed-off to proud to utterly invisible, all before lunchtime.

So, if you’ve got an HR wizard on your team (internal or fractional), here’s the tea:

They’re doing way more than meets the eye.

They care way more than they let on.

Recognition? Nah, that’s not why we’re here.

We do this because people freaking matter.

And someone’s gotta stand in the chaos and sort it out.
