1. Introduction
Welcome to my online mentoring system! As your mentor, I’m here to guide you in the leadership and/or human resource field. By signing up for our mentoring services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully—if you have any questions, just let me know!

2. Definitions
- Mentor: The provider of online mentoring services (that’s me).
- Mentee: The participant receiving mentoring and self-education resources (that’s you).
- Services: Individual mentoring sessions (1 per month, additional hours can be purchased) via Zoom, access to select webinars in the “Insider Access – Learning Management System” and provided reading materials such as handouts, checklists, forms, policies, books and blogs.
3. Services Provided
- Individual Mentoring: Mentees are required to attend one one-on-one session per month via Zoom.
- Self-Education: Mentees are expected to complete additional self-education through webinars, reading materials, and any other resources provided within the LMS or by The HR Lady®
4. Scheduling and Participation
- Attendance: Regular participation is essential for your development. If you’re unable to attend a scheduled session, please notify me at least 24 business hours in advance so we can discuss rescheduling options.
- Punctuality: Please be on time. If you’re late, the session may be shortened to accommodate the schedule.
5. Payment and Fees
- Fees: The mentoring service fee, including access to individual sessions, and educational materials, will be communicated upfront. Payment is due immediately after our initial intake communication or session.
- Refunds: Refunds are not available.
- Non-Payment: If fees are not paid on time, I reserve the right to suspend your access to the LMS and mentoring services until your account is in good standing.
6. Intellectual Property
- All content provided during mentoring sessions, webinars, and in reading materials is protected by trademark, copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are welcome to use these resources for your personal learning, but you may not reproduce, distribute, or share them without explicit permission.
7. Confidentiality
- I respect your privacy. Everything discussed during individual and group sessions remains confidential. Please note, however, that general insights shared in group settings are not confidential since all participants are present.
8. Liability and Disclaimers
- No Guarantees: While I commit to providing valuable insights and guidance, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Your progress depends on your effort and commitment.
- Limitation of Liability: I am not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages resulting from your participation in this mentoring program.
- External Resources: Any external materials (books, blogs, webinars) are provided as-is without warranty. Use them at your own discretion.
9. Modifications and Updates
- I reserve the right to update these terms and conditions as needed. If significant changes are made, I’ll notify you in advance. Your continued participation means you accept any modifications.
10. Termination of Services
- Either party may terminate this agreement with [insert notice period, e.g., 30 days] written notice.
- If termination is due to non-compliance with these terms (for example, repeated missed sessions without notice), I reserve the right to terminate the mentoring relationship immediately without a refund.
11. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of your state/ country. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of this jurisdiction. The HR Lady® is located in Florida, USA.
