Managers are tasked with guiding their team’s tactical work tasks with empathy, clear communication, and a dedication to creating a space where each employee feels appreciated, supported, and integral to the team’s success. Managers must establish relationships with each individual team member, offer regular feedback (a few times a year is not going to cut it anymore), and communicate in ways that resonate with each individual.
